Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:32 (NRSV)
God Loves You &We Do Too
Here at Colona United Methodist Church, we know that life is hard. We also know that we can’t do it alone. We need Jesus to help us through the hard times and to be a rock for us, when everything else seems uncertain. We also know that we need each other. God made us so that we can support and encourage one another. We would love it if you would join us as we walk the road of life together. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Monthly Prayer Vigil
The first Thursday of the month has been designated as a prayer and fasting day by our conference. Try fasting from negative thoughts, TV sitcoms, staying up too late, whatever for this one day. Come when you need, stay as long as you need; spend some time in prayer every first Thursday 8 to 8 in the west cry room. Thanks to Ted and Shari Anderson for setting this special space.
Prayer for the Week:
Dear God, when we are afraid, give us faith, courage, and trust. Help us to remember that you are always with us. Amen

A chain is formed when a member of the group contacts another person to request prayers, then that person contacts another person and so on. The end result is focused, group prayer. There are currently 2 prayer
chains of about 10 members each who communicate by phone. A Facebook prayer chain, CUMC Prayer Warriors, is also up and active. If you are interested in joining or starting a chain, call the church office (792-1661).
